STORAPEDIA TERM & CONDITION

Welcome to Storapedia ("we," "us," "our"). By using our luggage storage, surfboard storage, locker storage, or self-storage services ("Services"), you ("Customer," "you," "your") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Storapedia. Please read them carefully.

Our services are provided at our facility located in Jimbaran, Bali, Indonesia.

1. General Conditions (Applicable to All Services)
1.1. Acceptance of Terms: By booking, paying for, or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms in their entirety.

1.2. Prohibited Items: You are strictly prohibited from storing any of the following items in any of our storage units (luggage, locker, or self-storage):

Illegal substances, drugs, or any items prohibited by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Flammable, hazardous, or explosive materials (e.g., gasoline, propane, fireworks, ammunition).

Perishable food items, plants, or live animals.

Passports, official identification, or critical personal documents. We strongly advise you to keep these on your person.

High-value cash, securities, or items of exceptional value unless declared and approved by us in writing.

Weapons, toxic materials, or any items that produce a strong odor.

Any item that could be a nuisance to other customers or our staff.

1.3. Right to Inspect: We reserve the right, without prior notice, to open and inspect any luggage, bag, or storage unit if we have a reasonable suspicion that it contains prohibited items, poses a security risk, or in response to a request from law enforcement authorities.

1.4. Payment: All fees must be paid in advance for the selected storage period. Storage periods will not be prorated. Overdue storage will incur additional fees as per our posted rates.

1.5. Abandoned Property: Items left in storage for more than thirty (30) days after the paid storage period has expired, and after we have made reasonable attempts to contact you, will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of, sell, or donate abandoned items at our sole discretion without any liability to you.

2. Luggage Storage
2.1. Service: We will store your suitcase, backpack, or other enclosed bags for a pre-paid period.
2.2. Condition of Luggage: You are responsible for ensuring your luggage is securely locked or sealed. We are not responsible for the contents if the bag is not properly secured.
2.3. Liability: Our liability for any single piece of luggage and its contents is limited to a maximum of IDR 1,500,000 (one million five hundred thousand Indonesian Rupiah) in the event of proven loss or damage caused directly by our negligence. We are not liable for fragile items, electronics, or pre-existing damage.
2.4. Security Seal: We provide a tamper-evident security seal upon drop-off or pick-up. This seal is intended to help verify that luggage has not been opened or tampered with while in our custody. It remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure the seal is intact upon collection.

3. Surfboard Storage
3.1. Service: We will store your surfboard, with or without a board bag, for a pre-paid period.
3.2. Condition: While we take care to store boards safely, you acknowledge the inherent risks. We are not liable for minor pressure dings, scratches, sun/heat damage, or yellowing that may occur. We strongly recommend storing boards in a protective board bag.
3.3. Liability: Our liability for any single surfboard is limited to a maximum of IDR 2,500,000 (two million five hundred thousand Indonesian Rupiah) for significant damage or loss proven to be a direct result of our negligence. This does not cover fins, leashes, or other accessories.

4. Locker Storage
4.1. Service: We provide a locker  for your exclusive use for a pre-paid period.
4.2. Security: You are responsible for ensuring the locker is properly locked. Upon completion of your storage period, you must leave the locker empty and unlocked.
4.3. Lost Keys/Code: A fee will be charged for lost keys or if we are required to forcibly open a locker due to a forgotten combination.
4.4. Liability: We are not responsible for the contents of your locker. The service is provided on the basis that the user self-secures their belongings. Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the locker rental period.

5. Self-Storage (1m x 1m x 1m Units)
5.1. Service: We provide a 1m³ storage unit for your exclusive use for a pre-paid period (typically weekly or monthly).
5.2. Use of Unit: This service is ideal for storing personal effects, documents (non-critical), and equipment for students, digital nomads, or those undergoing a small household move. You are responsible for providing your own padlock and ensuring the unit is securely locked.
5.3. Access: You may access your unit during our standard operating hours.
5.4. Liability: We do not insure the contents of your self-storage unit. You are responsible for obtaining your own insurance for the goods stored. Our liability is limited to the total amount of storage fees paid by you in the preceding six (6) months. We are not a bailee and do not take possession or control of the goods within your unit.

6. Transportation Service (Optional Add-On)
6.1. Service Scope: We offer optional transportation services for the pick-up and/or delivery of luggage within designated service areas.
6.2. Request Requirement: Transportation services must be requested in advance and are subject to availability, additional fees, and confirmation by our team.
6.3. Customer Responsibility: Customers must provide accurate address and contact information and ensure someone is available to hand over or receive the luggage at the scheduled time.
6.4. Liability: Our responsibility during transportation is limited to direct damage caused by our negligence while the luggage is in transit. Delays due to traffic, weather, or other conditions beyond our control are not covered.
6.5. Service Limitations: Oversized or excessively heavy items may be refused or subject to additional charges.


7. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
7.1. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of our Services is strictly limited to the amounts specified in the sections above. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, such as missed flights, loss of profit, or emotional distress.
7.2. You agree to indemnify and hold [Your Company Name] and its employees harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms, including the storage of prohibited items.

8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denpasar, Bali.

By using our services, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
